Medicine Music Festival
Given the need to keep the Wiñaypaq school going, in 2014 the I Festival of Medicine Music was born as a biannual project to raise funds that allow its sustainability.
During the festival, the children offered the play “El Mounstruo Basuroso”
In 2016 the II Festival of Medicine Music took place, with more than 30 artists and 4 days of music, in which the children in addition to their play prepared an Andean Food Exhibition.
In 2018 we held the III Festival with 3 days of music.
In 2020 we held the IV Virtual Festival.
Workshops
Art in all its manifestations is an important part of our proposal. During the year we hold different simultaneous workshops, where children can learn: Andean music, theater, acrobatics, painting, ceramics, weaving, masks, and many more.
Theatre Presentations
We made several presentations to the public with our plays “The Threat of the Monster” and “The Origin of Corn Varieties”.
Study Trips
As an educational activity, the promotional trip to the Bahuaja Conservation Area is offered biannually, where our children come into contact with nature and begin not only intellectually, but emotionally a loving relationship with the Amazon and Mother Earth. We also make several trips and visits during the year to the archaeological sites of the area such as Intihuatana (Pisaq), Tipon, Machu Picchu…
